August 2026 — PresentPlanning & development

Overview

This capstone is intended to help compare wing settings by measuring aerodynamic loading. The initial scope is center-of-pressure measurement and assessment of measurement quality.

My contribution

Within the two-person team, my planned responsibilities include load analysis, test design, calibration, and software for processing synchronized load and vehicle data.

Engineering approach

The planned verification approach includes model checks, known-load calibration, and independent assessments of accuracy, repeatability, and uncertainty. A proposed output is a live center-of-pressure overlay on driving video.

Results & current status

The project is in planning and development. Calibration, measurement performance, and the video overlay are planned work; no validated test results are presented yet.
