The brief combines record-speed racing with a 500-nautical-mile ferry mission. Aerodynamic choices must work within structural and operating constraints.
My contribution
I am assigned to aerodynamic design alongside a second specialist. Work is shared across aerodynamics, performance, flight dynamics, and structures under a separate team lead.
Engineering approach
Planned work includes drag and configuration trades, traceable aerodynamic methods and assumptions, and documentation connecting decisions to lap predictions and the final report.
